This site operation began in 1962 with chemical and pharma manufacturing. Today our production is around 22.000 tons/year of optic whiteners, which supplies the industries of detergents, paper and textile.

We have approximately 170 employees working at the Rio site and we are the first chemical industry from Latin America to get ISO 9001 Certification, in 1994.

We are the main warehouse and distribution center of Latin America.

ESTRADA DO COLÉGIO PLANT - HISTORY

1955 - Foundation

1962 - 1st production facilities (Chemicals, Pharma, Agro and Domestic Products)

1979 - Expansion of the production building

1982 - First step of the effluent treatment plant. Second step in 1986

1993 - Safety improvement in warehouse and second barrier for the oleum-tank

1994 - ISO 9001 Certification by S.Q.S.and INMETRO (Brazil)

1995 - Duplication capacity of stilbenic and brighteners solvent process

1996 - Introduction of whiteners, slurries and regional supply point

1998 - Transference of the distribution center to Estrada

1999 - Production upgrade; ice factory, steam boiler and new tank farm

2001 - Introduction of new technology of products for paper industries

2002 - New warehouse project and distribution concept (SCS) launched at 3Q/01

2003 - 3 years without LTA; new upgrade in production capacity
