- Ciba is committed to product stewardship, which is the responsible management of health, safety and environmental aspects of the company's products throughout their life-cycle.
- Group EHS supports the Product Safety Groups of the Segments in developing processes and procedures to ensure that product safety and the management of issues are handled as important strategic tasks.
- Support is given to the Segment, Group Services and Regions to ensure world-wide legal compliance with legislation on products.
- Group EHS develops procedures and supports the implementation of risk assessment with regard to products and procedures.
- Audits of products are carried out.
