Community Relations

Community Relations

Ciba, Bradford is committed to being an active member of the local community. We aim to build and maintain open, honest and sustainable relationships with our neighbours, regulators and elected officials. We strive to foster mutual understanding of the issues that face both the community and our site.

We host four community liaison meetings during the year, giving   members of the local community opportunities to meet senior managers from the site and to discuss any issues they may have. These meetings are held on the last Wednesday in February, May, August and November. If you would like to attend one of these meetings, please report to the main gate on Cleckheaton Road at 5.45pm.

Twice a year we produce a community newsletter “Talking Community”, which is delivered to over 6000 households in the local area, with information about the site and our events in the community.

Our sponsorship and donation activity follows Ciba’s global focus on science, education and environmental excellence.  Where possible, we look to support schools and organizations within the Low Moor, Wyke and Oakenshaw areas via donations, sponsorships or employee involvement.

For more information about our community relations activities or to request sponsorship or a donation please contact Joanne Love, Site Communicator on 01274 417942 or joanne.love@ciba.com
