PT Latexia Indonesia is a 100%-owned Ciba company after the acquisition of Raisio Chemicals of Finland by Ciba Specialty Chemicals in June 2004.  

Built in 1994, PT Latexia Indonesia plant is situated at Merak, Banten which is approximately 120 km to the west of Jakarta.  It manufactures styrene butadiene & styrene acrylate latex for paper coating, carpet backing, paint and construction material.  The plant is ISO 9001:2000 certified and implements the Total Quality Management system. It has a QC laboratory which ensures quality in-process production and finished products before delivery to customers.
