1968            Ciba representative office was established in Bandung, West Java

1969            Awarded the permit by Indonesian Government to set up PT Ciba Indonesia
                   in December.

1973            PT Ciba-Geigy Pharma Indonesia was inaugurated in Gandaria in July

1977            PT Candrasari – Textile Chemicals Production unit was set up

1986            Ciba representative office in Semarang, Central Java, started operations
                   in February. In the same year, the Textile Dyes production unit was established

1992            Multi-divisional warehouse building was completed

1997            Closure of pharmaceutical plant of PT Ciba-Geigy Indonesia and its production
                   facilities were shifted from Gandaria site to Sandoz Plant

2000            Head office of PT Ciba Specialty Chemicals Indonesia was relocated to the
                   Gandaria site in July

2002            Production of dyestuff was discontinued in March

                   PT Candrasari was closed legally and production of textile chemicals was
                   assumed by PT Ciba Specialty Chemicals Indonesia

2006            Completed agreed sale of the Textile Effects Segment to Huntsman Corporation
                   on 30 June.
