We broke ground on 8 March 2006 for the construction of the company's new antioxidant manufacturing facility in Jurong Island, Singapore. The facility will boast state-of-the-art
technology and innovative manufacturing processes to produce granular forms of antioxidants,
Ciba^® IRGANOX^® 1010 and Ciba^® IRGAFOS^® 168, and its blends. With a production start-up slated for early 2008, the new plant will have an initial capacity of 30,000 metric tons. This will meet the rapidly rising demand for antioxidants in the fast growing polymer industry in Asia and the Middle East.
