1971            Ciba-Geigy was established in Thailand as a mono-divisional, pharmaceutical company

1986            Ciba-Geigy (Thailand) became multi-divisional with the integration of the
                   Dyestuffs & Chemicals Division

1987            Moved to new corporate head offices in Laksi, Bangkok

                   Inauguration of a Textile Chemicals formulation plant and corporate warehouses in the
                   Lad Krabang Industrial Estate

1997            Merger between Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz with subsequent spin-off of industrial
                   chemicals divisions into Ciba Specialty Chemicals (Thailand) Co. Ltd.

                   Acquisition of Matangi Dyestuffs from Indian Dyestuffs Industries to form
                   Ciba Specialty Chemicals Industries  

1999            Regional Technical Centre for Textile Printing was moved from Hong Kong
                   to Mahachai, Thailand

2002            Move of Head Office in February from Laksi to Chatuchak

2003            Merger of the two Ciba Specialty Chemicals group companies in Thailand.
                   All manufacturing and sales activities were integrated into Ciba Specialty
                   Chemicals (Thailand) Limited.

                   Consolidation of manufacturing activities at the Mahachai site, followed by the
                   divestment of the Lad Krabang site in late 2003.

2006            Transfer of Mahachai site to Huntsman Corporation in line with the completed
                   agreed sale of Textile Effects Segment on 30 June
