Grenzach-Wyhlen - The Ciba Grenzach GmbH founded in 1898 hosts on the one hand global research and development activities for Ciba’s Plastic Additives and Water & Paper Treatment business, on the other hand the plant formulates and produces high-quality specialties for all segments. Grenzach is one of the main production plants for optical brighteners within the group. Today around 815 employees (FTE) are working on site, 166 of which work in R&D and 649 in production and services.

Lampertheim - Ciba Lampertheim GmbH hosts the German sales organization of our three segments Coating Effects, Plastic Additives and Water & Paper Treatement. Within our global company structure the Lampertheim plant is an important production site for products of the segments Plastic Additives and Coating Effecs. In its modern facilities the site produces additives for plastics, coatings and cosmetics as well as customer specific additive blends. Also located at Lampertheim is the Ciba Holding Deutschland GmbH. At Lampertheim we have a staff of about 700 employees.
