Polyacrylamide soil stabilizers can prevent soil capping and crusting, therefore, increasing water infiltration and allowing young seedlings to germinate easily. They are also effective in reducing soil erosion caused by wind and water. Polymers are also used as stickers in hydroseeding. Water infiltration can increase by over 30% and soil erosion decrease by over 95%.
