Olivier de Beaurepaire, Business Developer Ciba® ENVIROCARE®
 | Olivier, an Agronomist Engineer, studied at 'L´Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie' in Montpellier (France) and 'L’Institut National Agronomique' in Paris. He further complemented his education by joining a management program at 'L’Institut de Contrôle de Gestion' in Paris. He started his professional career working for a manufacturer of compost and mineral fertilizers and then moved on to manage the commercial department of an agricultural plastic converter. During this period, Olivier became very interested in finding a solution for agricultural plastic wastes and as a logical next step got involved in the development of a range of degradable mulch films. |
In 2003 he joined Ciba Speciality Chemicals, where he has been in charge of the global market development of controlled degradation of agricultural plastics (e.g. mulch films) using Ciba® ENVIROCARE®.
Currently Olivier is mainly supporting farmers and distributors with the introduction of Ciba® ENVIROCARE® degradable mulch. In this respect he also participates in different European norm comittees and he regularly publishes papers in specialized magazines.
