Publication inks are used for high volume print runs, and printed on web heatset, publication gravure, web coldset, or water-based flexographic presses for publications of all types. End products include newspapers, magazines, catalogues etc., and most are printed using the 4-color process printing method

Ciba can supply many of the materials used in the formulation of publication printing inks. We supply process color pigments and dispersions for heatset and coldset inks, and pigments, resins, dispersants, and defoamers, for water-based flexographic inks.
