Metal cutting, grinding, forming are processes applied to reshape metal pieces.

The metal working fluids provide the necessary lubrication and also cooling, otherwise a safe and effective operation would not be possible.  

Metal working fluids may be water based, which is an effective coolant. If lubrication is the main need, water free fluids are commonly used.

To meet all requirements, oil and water soluble additives are used for formulating these fluids.

All Ciba’s oil soluble additives are used.
