Lubricant Additives / Lubricant types

The composition of Lubricants depend on the application and on the specific performance requirements they have to meet.  As mentioned under Effects, different additive performance classes ensure that the fully formulated lubricants meet requirements, both when freshly prepared but also during its expected life in use ('stay in grade requirement').
