TINODERM® SG is based on sclerotium gum, a polysaccharide with high moisturizing power.
In nature, sclerotium gum is produced by the wood-degrading fungus Sclerotium Rolfsii in order to protect itself from desiccation.
| TINODERM® SG is produced using an exclusive manufacturing process, including a fermentation step, copied from nature, followed by high purification by ultra-filtration. | |
 | This process enables production of a highly pure sclerotium gum, whose native, collagen-like triple-helical architecture and long-lasting moisturizing and sensory properties have been preserved. |
Due to its high molecular weight (5 MioDa), TINODERM® SG lies on the skin as a protective layer and enables the skin to restore its natural defences. It protects the skin barrier function through moisturizing. |
|
TINODERM® SG exists in 2 unpreserved versions: - TINODERM® SG-L with lactic acid (100% natural)
- TINODERM® SG-P with 1,2-pentanediol.
