Specific criteria must be met for each end-use application. Thus for apparel (clothing and sportswear), we emphasize the wear and care characteristics of the fiber. In automotive interior end-uses, our main concern is the hot-light fastness properties of the fabrics.

For carpet & upholstery, we make sure that the special needs of indoor use, such as rub-fastness, are met. The outdoor nature of geotextile & construction applications means that weathering is a special concern, while hygiene & medical end-uses for fabrics and fibers demand very specific properties and toxicological characteristics.
