Durability and Protection

Our light stabilizers improve the durability of polyolefin nonwovens for geotextiles and construction fabrics. Light stabilizers protect the fibers from degradation by UV light. Safety & Environment

Very often geotextiles and construction fabrics need to be flame retarded to comply with fire safety regulations. For example for roofing vapor membranes flame retardant tests such as DIN 4102 B2 need to be passed. Our new halogen-free flame retardant Ciba® FLAMESTAB® NOR™ 116 provides flame retardant efficacy at low concentrations of 0.5-1.5%.
