Effect additives and colored pigments are usually supplied in powder form. The following special powder pigment range has been specially developed to make your life easier:

FPV tested pigments - We test a select list of pigments for filter pack life (Filter Pressure Value) according to the EN 13900-5 method. We guarantee that the pressure rise caused by each pigment, as measured by this standard test, will lie under a product-specific maximum value.These pigments take the guesswork out of pigment dispersion and ensure uniformly high quality dispersions both in custom and in mono colors made from them. Mono-pigment concentrates

We also supply two different ranges of tried and tested mono-pigment concentrates or preparations that allow for easy handling and metering in your process. Both ranges are listed below:

• The Ciba® FILOFIN® range consists of single-pigment pre-dispersions in granulate form at a concentration which allows them to be used directly on the fiber spinning line.
• The Ciba® MICROLEN® range is a high concentration pre-dispersion in a special LDPE carrier, offering excellent dispersion for use in the finest fibers. These products are usually used in the preparation of masterbatches but can also be used in some circumstances or directly on the spinning line.
