Pigments for transparent polypropylene Polymer soluble colorants and pigments for engineering plastics
Pigments for transparent polypropylene
This growing family of pigments from Ciba can be used to achieve brilliantly colored, highly transparent shades that work particularly well in polyolefin applications. In addition to exhibiting excellent overall performance, these pigments also enhance the visual appeal of transparent PVC. Their exceptional transparency allows the glitter and sparkle of effect pigments such as Ciba® XYMARA™ to shine through.
They are supported by Ciba’s continuous innovation and on-going extension of compliance to local and international food packaging regulations.
Pigments influence transmission, haze, clarity and contrast. Therefore the right pigment selection is a key!
Selected products from the Ciba® CROMOPHTAL®, Ciba® IRGAZIN®, Ciba® CINQUASIA® and Ciba® IRGALITE® ranges provide a broad color space coverage and show excellent lightfastness and low migration tendency.
