Ciba® IRGAGUARD® B 1000 is an organic antimicrobial based on triclosan. This product has been used into a wide range of hygiene plastic, consumer goods, textiles, fibers and bath & kitchen products such as counter tops. It is a well recognized antimicrobial for more than 30 years especially in hospitals, and in personal care products such as antimicrobial soap, toothpaste and deodorants.

Ciba® IRGAGUARD® silver based antimicrobial products are available in zeolite and glass carrier. These products (IRGAGUARD® B 5000, IRGAGUARD® B 6000, IRGAGUARD® B 7000) are designed to sustain high processing temperatures and very low to no color development in various applications such as plastics, fibers, foams, and coatings. IRGAGUARD® silver based products are registered antimicrobials and are effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms that causes odor, staining and discoloration, Biofilm, premature loss of mechanical properties and cross contamination.

IRGAGUARD® F 3000 is a material preservative and antifungal agent that inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and is designed for use in the manufacture of polymer / plastic and textile products. It is an effective broad spectrum fungicide that inhibits the growth of fungi which contribute to the deterioration, discoloration and production of unpleasant odors in polymeric materials.
