Ciba® IRGAGUARD® F 3000 is highly effective material preservative and antifungal agent against a broad spectrum of fungi that can cause integrity and physical property issues in the finished product.

If your plastic application requires strong protection against bacteria caused degradation, the use of IRGAGUARD® B 1000 or IRGAGUARD® B silver antimicrobials is recommended.

If you are looking for algae degradation protection, IRGAGUARD® B 1000 antimicrobial would be more effective.

The recommended use level in polymer formulation is from 0.1 to 0.3%.
