Powder Blending
For plants adapted for powder handling (dust collectors, suitable silos and dosing systems), Ciba offers nearly our entire line of traditional products in powder form. Both pure products and blends are available. This product form is also suited for unmixed blends in bulk packaging.

Compacted / FF Form
The compacted, free-flowing "FF" granules represent an outstanding improvement over powders in terms of flowability and storage stability with low dust levels. These granules are delivered without sacrificing typical powder properties including retention of a particle size matching that of polymer fluff. Easy to disperse and handle, these granules are particularly suited for direct dosing of tailor-made blends.

Extruded / DD Form
Ciba durable, dust-free "DD" product form combines a remarkably low dust content with excellent flowability. These pellets are highly resistant to attrition and offer a narrow particle-size distribution. They are easy to handle, can be pneumatically transported and permit direct additive dosing.

Pelletized / G Form
The rodlike shapes "G-form" are particularly well suited for direct dosing of Ciba® Customer Specific Blends. They are easy to disperse and handle. The risk of demixing is eliminated with this dust-free form that is available in bulk packages.

Pastillized / FD Form
This form is used for low-melting additives (both pure products and blends). The pastilles minimize clumping during storage and enable delivery in bulk. These free-flowing pastilles are virtually dust-free and facilitate handling, dosing and conveying.
