Ciba® IRGAGUARD® B

Our Ciba® IRGAGUARD® B series is a product range particularly aiming at inhibiting growth of bacteria. Extensive tests with the Ciba® IRGAGUARD® B 1000 series have proven in most thermoplastic polymers to be very effective against a wide range of bacteria. High effectiveness and favorable compatibility with the substrate guarantee durability of the product. Our Ciba® IRGAGUARD® B 5000 and B 7000 are inorganic silver based products. They can be processed at very high temperatures and are therefore specially suited for the use in fibers. They show good activity against bacteria but also against mold and yeast.
