Flyer Ciba® Irgastab® PVC

Polyvinylchloride Effects - Polymerization

The PVC industry has been looking for products to meet customer needs for greater reliability and better cost performance. PVC customers can take advantage of liquid antioxidants Ciba® IRGANOX® 245 DW and Ciba® IRGASTAB® PVC 11 to fulfill today’s market requirements for an efficient, robust, and environmentally sound stabilizing systems.
Ciba® Irgastab® PVC 11 is especially designed to be an effective chain terminator for S-PVC as well as conferring excellent heat stability as well as outstanding initial color to PVC resins. For easier handling, dosing and mixing, Ciba® Irgastab® PVC 11 is also available in a 40% active solvent free liquid emulsion. Ciba® Irgastab® PVC 11 EM contains finely dispersed particles which imparts excellent stability to the liquid. For processes which does not requires a chain stopper, Ciba has developed Ciba® Irgastab® PVC 76 which is a 45% active liquid, micro-fine emulsion of Irganox 1076 for S-PVC process. Once again this new solution contains no solvents and the  manufacturing process ensures that the finely dispersed particles in the emulsion provides outstanding storage stability. Both of these new solutions have broad FDA approvals in both Rigid and Flexible PVC.
