The R&D Center was tansfered from Takarazuka to Amagasaki in November 2001. The facilities are newly designed based on our technical requests and in line with Ciba's EHS guidelines.

The site provides R&D activities specifically for the Electronic Materials field and also provides technical support for the Coating Effects Segment.

In July 2007, the facility was expanded to 2,649 sqm. Currently around 30 employees are working to explore the critical edge of the future technologies.
