Through B2B supply chain integration, Ciba helps its customers reduce costs and inventory significantly. This integration consists of several modules:

• Automated order process "order to shipment"  
  Orders and order changes are received automatically, and order confirmations and ship notices are sent automatically to our customers via the Internet.  

• Supply Chain collaboration "VMI" or "CPFR"
  The customer provides us a daily inventory and demand plan (up to 18 months of forecast). Ciba assumes the responsibility of managing & minimizing the customer's inventory.
