Our company got on as a consequence of a division process from Ciba Geigy Argentina S.A. The Company started its activities on January 1st., 1997 by the Organization Meeting of October 23^rd., 1996. Their shareholders are Ciba Specialty Chemicals Holding Inc. and Ciba Specialty Chemicals AG, both of them members of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Inc. group, with its heaqdquarters in Basel, Switzerland.

Ciba Especialidades Químicas S.A. has its administrative offices on the first floor of Panamericana Plaza Building, strategically located in the intersection of Panamericana Highway and General Paz Road.
