Ciba Specialty Chemicals Canada serves all three of our business segments, Plastic Additives, Coating Effects, Water and Paper Treatment with sales and support functions operating out of the headquarters  site in Mississauga.

In addition to their ongoing support of all our businesses, our Canadian site is particularly well-positioned to meet the sizable needs of the pulp and paper industry, much of which is centered in this part of the region.

The oil reserves of Alberta, Canada, are also a critical focus of our Water and Paper Business Segment as the site of increasing business activity for our extractives and mining business operations.

Canada has also served as the pilot for development of one of our highly innovative health and safety achievements, the Field Safe Program that helps to ensure the safety of our colleagues servicing equipment out in the field at customer locations.
