Ciba® IRGASURF® HL is a durable hydrophilic, internal additive for polypropylene fibers and nonwovens. It has been developed to address your specific needs such as low initial strikethrough time, durable effect (up to 50 insults!) or increased absorption capacity. It is a melt-processable alternative to topical finishes and allows polypropylene fabrics to absorb many times their weight in water. Ciba® IRGASURF® HL represents a breakthrough for wipes and similar applications since it continues to be highly absorbent after repeated use.
